David Bunch the 1st Assistant Presiding Bishop of the Jesus Christ Apostolic Ministries International, was born September 26, 1948 in Baton Rouge, LA. Felt the call of God on his life while walking through some pine trees at age 6. Received the Gift of the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus Name in April of 1973. Taught Bible studies and Sunday School until 1993 when his public ministry began as Minister of Music and Assistant to the Pastor at Grace United Pentecostal Church in Baker, LA. Spent four years on the Ministerial staff at First Pentecostal Church of Baton Rouge. Was licensed and ordained with JCAMI in 2006. Currently serving as Bishop of the Louisiana District and Assistant Presiding Bishop of JCAMI. His current burden is to start a new church in the Baton Rouge area. Also has a burden to start an international work on the LSU campus. Him & his wife Claudine Murphy Bunch have two sons. The eldest - David Benjamin Bunch is licensed with the UPCI and is leaving for Foreign Missions work in Ireland in May, 2008. He married Farrah Labored Bunch and has a son - Dawson Benjamin Bunch, and a daughter to be born December 28, 2007 - Elayna Noelle Bunch. Farrah's niece, Kristen Shirey, came to live with them at the age of 10. She is very active in the youth group and is going to Ireland with them. Their younger son - Stephen Dale Bunch has a very anointed music ministry. He is on the music staff at the First Pentecostal Church of Denham Springs, LA. He married Sherie Dentro Bunch. Sherie is also on the same music staff and has a very beautiful singing voice. They are a great music team.
